skills. The texts are designed to be more challenging than those in the
Pre-intermediate level and cover a range of engaging and relevant topics.
Writing: The course includes writing exercises
and tasks that encourage students to practice their writing skills at an
intermediate level. These may involve writing formal and informal emails,
letters, reviews, reports, opinion essays, and narratives, focusing on coherent
organization, accuracy, and appropriacy of language.
Pronunciation: In the course, pronunciation
practice continues in the Intermediate level, aiming to further refine
students' pronunciation, intonation, and listening skills. It may include
exercises on connected speech, stress patterns, intonation in different
contexts, and distinguishing between similar sounds.
Cultural Awareness: In the course cultural
aspects of English-speaking countries may be explored, providing students with
insights into different cultures, traditions, and social norms.
